This lightweight and packable down vest is made for mountaineering, and is suitable for all-season outdoor activities. This vest works perfectly as an outer layer on cold summer days and as an insulation layer during the winter. It's made with aeroDownproof face fabric to provide solid weather protection, lightweight and soft touch, and filled with premium down for an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio.
The main face fabric is high-quality recycled 20D nylon treated with PFC-free water repellency for excellent water resistance. In addition, exposed areas like shoulders and sleeves are reinforced in 45D recycled nylon to provide long-lasting durability.
The vest is filled with high-quality, RDS-certified 750fp down (55g i men's L/44g in women's M). The sides and neck have been outfitted with synthetic insulating to prevent heat loss in colder conditions. The shoulder piece is insulated with a combination of down and recycled synthetic material to ensure durability and maintenance of loft in this exposed area.
Key features include a one-hand adjustable hood fitted for a beanie, hand warming pockets, a chest pocket, and an elastic hem tightening.
