Winter Rental Assistant
📍 Location: Wanaka
⏰ Hours: Full-time, winter season

Requirements
- English speaking
- Passion for skiing or snowboarding with experience in the sport
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
- Knowledge of ski and snowboard equipment (training provided)
- Availability to work weekends and public holidays

Ecommerce Customer Service
📍 Location: Wanaka
⏰ Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday

Come join our team at Outside Sports – trusted experts in quality outdoor adventure gear and apparel! Our online store is growing and we’re looking for an energetic, organised person with good computer skills to help pick, pack & dispatch orders to our customers. Communication with customers by email and sometimes by phone is a key part of this role, so you need excellent written and spoken English language.
Requirements
This role reports to the E-commerce & Marketing Manager and liaises with internal team members from all our stores. Experience with Shopify or Cin7 is a bonus, but not essential. Mostly what we are looking for is a positive, can-do attitude, willingness to learn, interest in customer satisfaction, attention to detail and someone who can type a great email.

Are you passionate about skiing and snowboarding? As the Winter Rentals 2IC, you’ll assist the Rentals Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensure smooth service when they’re off duty. You'll help fit customers with skis, snowboards, helmets, and rental clothing while providing top-notch service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the Rentals Manager in supervising the team
- Lead the rentals team in the manager’s absence
- Assist customers with fitting and selecting rental gear
- Ensure smooth daily operations, including stock management
- Deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced setting
Requirements
- English-speaking with strong communication skills
- Passion for skiing or snowboarding with experience in the sport
- Leadership skills or previous supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
- Knowledge of ski and snowboard equipment (training provided)
