Winter Rental Assistant
📍 Location: Wanaka
⏰ Hours: Full-time, winter season

Love working with ski and snowboard gear? Spend the winter helping customers get fitted with skis, snowboards, helmets, and rental clothing, ensuring they’re ready for the snow. Join a fast-paced team delivering top-notch service all season!
Requirements
- English speaking
- Passion for skiing or snowboarding with experience in the sport
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
- Knowledge of ski and snowboard equipment (training provided)
- Availability to work weekends and public holidays

Passionate about skiing and ski boots? We're looking for a Boot Technician to join our Wanaka team! If you have experience or a strong knowledge of ski boots and a passion for the mountains, we’d love to hear from you!
Requirements
- One season or more of experience, or solid knowledge of ski boots
- A passion for skiing and helping others get the perfect fit
- Multilingual skills are a plus, but not required

Bike Manager

- 2+ years of bike mechanic experience

Love working with bikes in the summer and ski gear in the winter? This is the perfect role for you! Spend October–June as a Bike Mechanic, keeping riders rolling, then switch gears for winter, working in our rental or workshop team from June–October.

- At least 1 year of bike mechanic experience
- Someone who enjoys a seasonal change of pace
- Weekend & public holiday availability

Are you passionate about skiing and snowboarding? As the Winter Rentals 2IC, you’ll assist the Rentals Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensure smooth service when they’re off duty. You'll help fit customers with skis, snowboards, helmets, and rental clothing while providing top-notch service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the Rentals Manager in supervising the team
- Lead the rentals team in the manager’s absence
- Assist customers with fitting and selecting rental gear
- Ensure smooth daily operations, including stock management
- Deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced setting
Requirements
- English-speaking with strong communication skills
- Passion for skiing or snowboarding with experience in the sport
- Leadership skills or previous supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
- Knowledge of ski and snowboard equipment (training provided)
